Default 16 month old fussy eater

Hi everyone,

I've only just discovered this website having bought a few of annabels books in the hopes of finding a solution to my 16 month olds eating habits.

At the moment he'll only eat purees, absolutely nothing thicker or lumpier than that, in saying that he has recently started eating peas and sweetcorn which is great I'm thrilled to bits and he also ate a birds eye waffle so I know there's nothing wrong with him he's perfectly capable of eating solids, he just won't!!! It's so frustrating I just don't know what to do.

I've made a list of ingrediants for some of the finger food recipies so i'm off to the supermarket tomorrow in the hopes that he might try eat some of it, but it can be so disheartening sometimes!

Your advice and experience would be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to AK

I'd try the finger foods hun, sometimes they prefer the independence that feeding themselves gives.
