15 month old son not eating solids

He only eats some rice cakes and finger foods but if I try to give him anything else he doesn't open his mouth.

I have given him less milk but that doesn't help either.

He started weaning at 17 weeks and was eating really nicely up to 13 months all the solids I gave, after that he's been really difficult.

He's gaining weight ok, feeling happy and energetic.

I would just give him his food and leave him to it, sometimes they just want to do it themselves.

Dont stress he will eat, could be teeth or cold thats putting him off his foodx

I agree. If he's happy with finger foods then just put food in front of him and let him get on with it himself. It could be he wants to be independent and is refusing to be fed.
