hi i'm after a recipe suitable for my 3yr old and my 1yr old which uses chicken, rice and veg flavoured with say a tom sauce. bit like AK's fussy eater ready made but instead homemade and no salt (no offense AK).
i thought about cooking every thing separately and then mixing together but can't afford to be wasting chicken if it turns out grotty. any help greatly received. thanks |

simple when you put it like that - i did try it by mixing all together but not happy with results.
i've made tonnes of hidden veg sauce so can just cook chicken chop and add to rice and sauce. ta for pointing out the obvious - must of been having a senior moment again. ![]() |

Woow your recipe sounds to yum i know i would love it
![]() One more way to try is to make a fried rice with all the veg your lo likes and then cut in some cooked chicken ( boiled with onions, garlic and tumeric power) in the rice pefore serving. Another way would be to grind potatos, carrots, turnips, celery and fry in a bit of butter, add chicken breast , onion, garlic and some spices then all veg or chicken stock along a big table spoon of tamato paste, bring to boil and simmer for about an hrs untill all sonft and cooked. you can serve this on top of your rice. Good luck. xx |
