very fussy 10month old son

hi i have a 10month old son that has been poorly from about 3weeks old with reflux he seems to have grown out of his reflux but is now refusing to eat no more than 3 spoons of food a day i try offering finger foods on which some days he will eat but mostly he has nothing.

he is still under the hospital as he is seriously under weight he weighes what a 4month old weighs at the mo, his very active crawling pulling himself to stand etc, does any one have any ideas or adivice to help me get him to eat more! i really dont know what to do any more i only get 1hours sleep aswell so makes it harder to cope with my 2 and half year old.
sorry to waffle on just thought i was best to explain the situation feel so alone in all of this x

Are you under anyone at the hospital to help with putting weight on him? I would say just keep offering him foods at every meal time and not making a big deal about it to him so he doesn't catch on to the fact that it upsets you. Avocados are a good high fat food and you could mash these in with mashed potato too use butter / milk to mash into his foods. He will get there in the end. x

How much milks he having?

Poor you, sounds like your having a bad time

Try not to stress, he sounds active enough! hes getting energy from somewhere!

Have you tried keeping a diary of what he eats/drinks?

hi he is under the peadatrician (sorry if spelt wrong) but they havnt said to much theyve suggested he has an endoscopy and then a probe for 24 hours into his tummy to see how much acid he produces but other than that they havnt given any suggestions!
it is very hard work he just eats nothing. he takes about 10-11oz of milk a day but that includes any night time bottles so isnt alot at all!
will try the avocado and mash hopefully he likes it!
