18 month old refusing food

My 18th Month old wont eat vegetables or fruit even cheese. If i make a sandwich with anything like cheese or ham in it he chews then spits it out.
fruit he only eats banana. He wont touch veg. He wont eat pasta.
He is quite good at eating stews and sometimes mince but giving the choice he would eat cereal and yoghurts all the time.
If he wont eat i get him out of the high chair but he cries and cries and points at his high chair to go back in. He would sit there all night if he could but will not eat what i am offering.

Hi is your little guy teething? My lo (10 months) has just been like this. She eats anything from 6 months then suddenly refused most things. Turns out about 5 teeth have come through at once. I only ask as all she wanted was stew, soup, youghurt tc anything she had to bite was a no no. Now she's back to eating again xxx
