how about using a cookie cutter or something similar to make a shape out of the bread, I used to make Jess teddy bear sandwiches, elephant, trains etc - good luck x

Will he eat bread and fillings separately?
My lo will eat M&S sarnies (on the rare occasion we're in town) but otherwise insists on having her bread and butter cut into 'twiangles' and the cheese/ham/tuna/houmous etc separately.

I used to make sandwiches with cookie cutters too (still do actually), Molly especially likes star shapes. Rosie however will not entertain sandwiches in any way, shape or form! I've tried all sorts of fillings, shapes, open sandwiches etc but she's just not interested, apart from that she's a brilliant eater so I'm not really that bothered, she's a hot meal type of girl and loves stodgy stuff like stews, roasts etc. I still offer her sandwiches from time to time just to see if her taste buds have changed, that's the only thing I can suggest xxxx

Isabelle is going through the same thing! But successfully ate one today! What I did was made her lots of differnt things for lunch for a few weeks, pasta, egg & soldiers, jacket potatoes, etc etc, then reintroduced a cheese sandwich today and she ate it.
HTH. Good luck x

Evan would never eat sandwhiches when he was younger either. He would just eat the filling out of them and leave the bread. Like the others said I used to use cookie cutters to make different shapes. Either that or I would use pittas instead of bread. He loves them. I just lightly toast them in the toaster and then fill them with cheese, ham, tuna anything really.

My lo will be 2 in Feb and he won't entertain sandwiches either! Will nibble on them but thats it! He's a hot meal man!
I too tried cookie cutters etc to no avail. He'll eat toast and plain bread and butter though.
I'm not too fussed to be honest, every now and again I'll give a sarnie and will carry on trying.
Goodluck! x

my youngest will never eat sandwhiches, she doesnt like bready things. I've tried everything, the cutters, doing it speratly, everything.
Some days she will ahve a pick and maybe nibble to edge and other days she just eats the insides, and some very rare days she may even eat the whole lot.
Just keep offering and one day they may well go for it
