I found the complete baby and toddler meal planner to be excellent when I was weaning my DS. I have a couple of the other books as well but this is defintiely the best of them. I originally bought it as it was recommended to me by lots of my friends. I will say that I used it a lot in the first year, but once my LO moved on to more grown-up food I found myself referring to books less and less and just cooking my normal family dishes without salt.

Just click on the books section above (on the pink bar) and it should give you a link to Amazon where you can buy it (or if you aren't buying from Amazon you can see which one it is).

I very much doubt that it is the recipes that are the problem. Unfortunately some children just are picky eaters, all you can do is give them time, keep trying and eventually they will get there. I have a family member like that. Liked only plain food and nothing else till she was in her teens. Always ate plain meat, fruit and veg so had a well balanced diet, but you couldn't make her anything with a sauce or flavoured for a very long time. No harm in that, there is nothing wrong with plain food.
