Angel breakfast time

hi my daughter is 14months now and she doesnt have any other cereal other then raffertys porriage i tryed to give her witpix she doesnt like it and she doesnt like lumps just wanted to know can i give her oats porrage thay have stawberry and other falovours but on the bix said for 3year up.. what should i do .. thank u

If she is happy with just porridge then just give her porridge. You can add your own fruit puree or fruit pieces to it if you want to change the flavours. I add grated or chopped apple or pear to it when I'm cooking it, or frozen berries, or banana or fresh berries once it is cooked.

hi thank you for the reply just wanted to know can i give her Oats So Tasty its from uncle tobys but the packet says for 3 years up do you think its still ok for a 14 months old toddler ..

Personally I stay clear of the flavoured breakfast cereals as they are often high in added sugar, and are often high in salt too. Don't know the ones you are talking about as tehy are not available here but if you are happy with the ingredients in the packet and the sugar and salt levels then use them.

i used to just give plain porridge oats, then add chopped dried fruit( raisins, sultanas, apricots etc) or fruit puree to sweeten. he still likes it like this even now.
