Default Mini Cottage Pies

Hi

This is my first post!

I made some mini cottage pies today and plan on popping them in the freezer. Does anyone know how long I need to re-heat them for and at what temperature (once I have defrosted them?)

Thanks!

Hiya! Welcome!

What are the pies stored in? If its a ceramic ramekin, it will take longer to heat thru than a glass one. I'd usu stick them in the oven at abt 180oC for at least 30mins to allow the heat to penetrate into them. If you microwave them, then prob abt 3 mins plus if in a ramekin and then let it cool: if you empty the food out before microwaving it then usu abt 1min to 1.5min would be enough.

You just need to make sure its piping hot and then let cool to an ok temp to eat. I usu heat food thru and then place in fridge or freezer to cool it quick enough so DD's meal is cool enough for her to eat when we have our meal.
