Default Freezing advice?

I have made the sweet potatoe and spinach mash from the annabel cookbook and didn't realise that it didnt have the freezer symbol. Does anyone know why you can't freeze it?

Some of the recipes don't freeze well because the texture of the food changes or it discolours (say banana or avocado) so it isn't necessarily as appetising after it's frozen. It didn't stop me from freezing all sorts (better than wasting it in my view).

I don't know why it can't be frozen. Probably the texture thing as DrP said.

I'd freeze it anyway though

I'd freeze it too.
