breakfast for a 10 month-old girl
my little girl will be 11 moths old next 17th and most of the mornings , she doesn't drink the milk I give her. what do you give your little ones for breakfast? what more can I give her? before going to bed , it's the same. She never finishes it, and I know she should drink more milk than she actually has.
so the question is: WHAT DOES YOUR BABY HAVE FOR BREAKFAST?
THANKSSSSS

Sophie is 1 in a few weeks.
She has a BF when she wakes up then either porridge, rice krispies, weetabix or toast for breakfast x

My little lad has been having the same thing for breakfast since I started weaning him. Readybrek, weetabix, oatabix or porridge, sometimes with fruit sometimes without. Maybe once a week he'll have something different like scrambled eggs on toast, pancakes, wholewheat muffins and yoghurt.
He went through a phase around 11-12 months where he cut way back on the amount of milk he would drink, cutting our bf (for good) and refusing to take any out of a bottle or cup. I just made sure I got plenty of milk and dairy into his food at the time. I kept offering him drinks of milk as well though and he did go back to drinking it after a month or so.

Sebastian is 15 months & he varies what he eats on a morning, some mornings he has milk & others he will only drink water. He has an apple or banana most mornings & then toast, cereal(sometimes dry) or Yoghurt.

Usually same every day - various cereals and milk! I favour the plainer ones ie shredded wheat, oats, muesli, weetabix, and cheerios. Sometimes a bit of fruit or something different.
If you are worried about calcium then Ready Brek has added calcium. I think it is quite good as it is fortified but no added salt or sugar.
What else is she drinking? Can you offer milk at other times? Or maybe she just isn't keen on it? What milk is it? Can't recall if you said or not...

Hi,
When my son was at that age, i would give him cerelac or some times boiled egg ( only the yolk) with toast.
You can try fresh cream and jam on toast or even cream cheese with apricot jam. my son still loves it.
Good luck . xx

My 10month old is a bit of an eater but i don't know if it's because of what i do or if it's just her nature. Emma eats every 2-3h. She has her breakfast within 1 hour of her waking up and it's mostly weatabix, semolina or porridge all with fruit. then midmorning she has her bottle and she gets a lunch then a bottle then dinner and finaly a bottle at bed time and mostly she finishes her 240ml bottles but sometimes it is up to 80mls left in it. With her meals she has a cup of cows milk unless the food has a lot of milk in it then i give her juice or water. Hope your little one will start liking her milk soon!

My 15mth old has kiddie weetbix. She has been having them since she was 12 moths. She generally has 1-2 weetbix with a little milk, with either mashed banana or home-made pureed pears or apples after having 160-180mls milk. I generally mash up the weetbix with some hot water and then add milk and fruit. She really enjoys it and rarely leaves any un-eaten.
