Default fried food

Hi, everyone, I'm new at this site....

just a question about fried food. I'm reading Annabel's site and a lot of food is fried. I have never cooked anything fried for my 10 moth-old girl. is it a good idea, or is it too early? up to now, she has only tried purees with vegetables, meat, chicken or fish.

i'd like to know how you are cooking for your babies...thank you very much...

I did some fried stuff for my LO at that age, but tbh I tended to use the tiniest bit of oil and a non-stick pan, or I just stuck whatever it was in the oven and baked it instead. A balanced diet should contain some fat so I wasn't too concerned about frying foods as I did and it wasn't every meal or even every day.

Just echoing Dr P really. As long as your lo has a healthy & varied diet a little bit of fried food does no harm. Often you can oven bake instead of fry too. x
