Default 11 mo sicking up dinner whilst asleep

Hi all I am new here. I have 11 mo daughter and for the past month she has had several incidents of coughing and sicking up her dinner whilst she is in bed sometimes asleep! It is only when I check on her that I find she is asleep in her own sick, she is soaked through and it is all in her hair

I was really concerned that maybe it was the way I am preparing and freezing the food so last night I made mac n cheese from fresh but it happened again. She didnt sick up the mac and cheese mostly her milk from her bedtime feed.

It breaks my heart to think she has been sleeping in all her own sick.

She does have her 2 incisor teeth coming through and the health visitor said that this can have cause sickness but it has been going on for so long now.

I am going to keep a food diary for a week then take her to the DR if not better next week. She has lost weight 7oz since her last weigh in 4 weeks ago.

Has anyone got any tips for what I can cook that will stay down?

Many Thanks
x

Aw poor you and babes. I'm sure she'll be ok though. My lo started to be sick at similar age to yours and I switched her to cow's milk from formula and she stopped. We found the formula was too heavy as she was such a good eater. Als, what time does she finish tea? Our dd1 stopped formula and at this age and missed night bottle for a few weeks too as she was full from her tea ( finished bout 530) then didn't need the bottle (7ish) for bed, it was too much xxx I hope she's fine and good luck with the docs xxx

Ooh forgot to say, dd2 started with a tummy bug, just mild, but it was only formula she threw up not really food, which is why we switched to cow's milk and she stopped being sick then xxx

Hi my son did exactly the same thing about a month ago, this coincided with his teeth coming through! I got really anxious but he is fine now! x
