Angry My 9 month old won't eat savoury food!

My 9 month old boy, off the sudden decided that he won't eat savoury food, only fruit or yoghurt. I always give him first meal, and after fruit, youghur or other dessert. He will eat that no problem. At the moment I am facing a dilemma, shall I if he won't eat savoury, not give in and don't give him anything else, but just full milk feed, or should I give in, and hope it will resolve itself! Its just so frustrating when you prepare, cook food for him and he will spit it out in your face! Any ideas are welcome!

Have you tried a combination of sweet and savoury ? Sweet potatoes for example are a good sweet addition to a savoury dish. Apricots work well with chicken and sweet potato (check out this recipe).
My little lad has always loved the combination of potato, cheese and apple. I sometimes add chicken to the mix and it goes down well every time.
If you can get him to eat sweeter savoury dishes then try gradually making them more savoury over time.

Thank you for an advice. I have tried giving him mixed savoury and sweet (he used to like chicken with sweet potato, apricots, apple, but not anymore). Maybe its just a phase and it will go away on its own

We just had the same problem.
Reached 9 months, got a cold, trouble teething, stopped eatting foods that he'd loved before, except yoghurts, puddings etc.
It got to the point that I was offering him steamed veg that we were having and he was happy feeding himself so I looked more at babyledweaning ideas, seemed to be working well but i still had a freezer full of baby foods id made up. Yesterday he had his normal brekfast, then a proper lunch, refused dinner and just had rice pudding (check that out its YUM) anyway, as we speak he is having his 3rd meal of the day!!!!
Maybe a phase, teething, who knows but stick with it!!!!

HI I have been BLW since the get go, he eats now both spoon and BLW..

I found the problem wasn't the savoury but the temp

Try giving it to him cool or cold it could be he just likes the temperature.
