Default Freezing Banana?

Hi everyone,

Is there any reason (other than appearance) why banana shouldn't be frozen?
The whole crop in Far North Queensland (I live in Sydney) has been destroyed and they are set to rise to $30 a kilo!

Ta!

Don't think so. I've regularly made banana icecream and that contains fresh pureed bananas and it is just fine.

Shouldnt be an issue: freeze in their skins: I know you can do this with overripe bananas to use in bananabread recipes.
