Default Can I freeze plus some advice??

Hi everyone I'm new to the site just bought the baby and toddler book which is full of so many great ideas. I have just spent the day cooking and pureeing for my five month old as we have been advised to start weaning early! I made the dried apricot and prune purses however it doesn't say whether I can freeze them or not?? I would be most grateful if someone could advise?? Also can I use the same recipes for the 6/9 month olds???

We have been on the solids for three weeks now and she absolutely loves everything fruit and veggie I have put her way so would love to start varying her diet with what we eat blended down is this the next step?? Sorry for all the questions however my hv never visits or returns phone calls so kind of making it up as I go along!

Thanx x

When I was weaning my LO I did the following: single fruit and veg purees, then mixed fruit and veg purees. Then I started to introduce fish, meats and cheese as well as texture and finger foods.

I didn't start mashing down our food for him till he was older, mainly because what we cook for ourselves is often full of salt, and sugars if you use jars of sauces at all, and these should be avoided.

Hiya hun,

I used to moulle/mash everything we had for my 2, I didnt use salt in our cooking (much to hubby's dismay when the kids were little so I was able to give it to them and we never had a problem.

As for you HV, you need a new one, give your surgery a call and complain! x x x
