Angel baby stock cubes

Im not sure about a recipe to make it yourself, but i know that boots stock a range of baby foods, and they actually have baby stock cubes, ie. no salt at all. great for cooking with, and they are available in chicken, veg or beef flavours. i bought one of each and found them great when i was making my sons foods once he was ready for more interesting combinations!

Default

When I roast a chicken I don't season it, then once we've had our dinner I throw the carcass in a pot with an onion, carrot, leek and a couple of sticks of celery (veg. roughly chopped). Cover with water and simmer for a few hours.

Sometimes I just make it with a packet of drumsticks of chicken wings if they are on offer. I tend to brown them off wuickly first as I find this gives my stock a nicer flavour. If I use these then once I've strained off the stock I seperate the meat out as well. I often throw it into some veg soup and I sometimes like to fry it off quickly with some spice and toss it in a salad for lunch.
