Yogurt is not just a delicious snack with fruits on the bottom, it has great health benefits. It is an excellent source of protein, calcium, riboflavin and vitamin B 12. When yogurt is compared to milk, yogurt contains more calcium and protein because of the added cultures in the yogurt.
Yogurt is made from dairy products; it is very high in calcium, which is highly beneficial for bone and teeth health. Calcium is especially important for those seeking to prevent bone density loss and osteoporosis. Healthy levels of calcium can also encourage the body to maintain and lose weight. Yogurt is also a good source of protein, which helps give the body energy to keep you going throughout the day. |

Guidelines are six months for dairy. I gave plain greek yoghurt and avoided all the little stars/petit filous/ munch bunch stuff as they are all sweetened, sometimes I added fruit but mostly she had it straight up.
She still loves plain yoghurt but now gets embarrassingly excited about munch bunch when we go places. |
