Default Eggs???

I know this sounds really silly but when can my 8 month 3 week old have eggs, I have a friend who says not until they are a year old but I am sure I read in one of AK books that they can have eggs on the second stage weaning 6-9 months!!
I have already given him scrambled eggs so I hope its ok?

Thank you

As long as they are well cooked it's fine.

As far as I know it's no runny eggs before they are 1, but hard boiled, scrambled, omlettes etc are all good before that.
