hi i gave my son prunes in his porridge this morning in hope keep things regular/loose as he doesn't drink much water and only has 2 bottles a day. he loved it.
anyway the prunes were ones in juice with no added sugar etc. you can only keep in fridge for few days, wondering could i puree the prunes down and freeze - i can't see a problem but thought ask just in case. don't think will use them up otherwise in time stated can keep in fridge. also any good ideas on getting my daughter (3yrs) to have some to "help" move things along. ta |

not sure on the freezing question.
i buy the ready to eat prunes in a packet (get them from where the dried fruits are in supermarket) and me and Izzy (nearly 3) eat them chopped up in with cereal or porridge for breakfast, she saw me having them and wanted them and loves them now. |
