so which date do i go for????

it's all a bit confusing but my due date given by my 12wk scan is 4th Jan BUT my due date if you go from my last period is 24th Dec!! so which date would you go with if you were me???

Go with your scan date,
that happened with me with aub's Going from my last period she was due 23rd november, then the scan at the hospital gave me the 30th november but then a scan at Bupa gave me the 5th decmber and this was the one the midwife went with and she came 7th dec so they were bang on

i would go by you scan as you are unlikely to have got pregnat the day after your period, most fertile time is between 10-15 day after you period

scan is more accurate, as you never know when you concieved exactly normally a week or so out.... scan goes by size and development of fetus so more spot on...

I would go with scan date - more accurate.

Not only that, my due date with the scan was 1st Feb although my dates were more 28th Jan. Poppy arrived on 14th Feb!

There is nothing more disappointing than your due date coming and passing with no baby. As a hospital will allow you to go 10 -14 days over I wish I had 14th in my mind anyway as it's horrible horrible horrible going over.

By having an earlier due date in your mind doesn't mean a baby will arrive any sooner....no matter how much you wish it to!

Definitely go by the 12 week scan date.

I don't have a due date yet. My LMP due date and my early scan due date were 10 days apart so I've got to wait 'til my scan on Monday and I'll be told then.

The sonographer told me they often adjust the due date according to your scan now as it's more accurate. They were inducing too many women depending on their LMP date when infact the babies were barely overdue. Much safer to go full term IYKWIM.
