She just sounds rubbish and like she can't be bothered.
My community mw has just changed, has gone from a very efficient one (who always had her appointments on time, well within about 5 mins) to sitting around waiting for an appointment that was an hour late last week. And I had poor Isabelle with me cos she was off nursery sick. She was very nice but just a bit 'pathetic'. Luckily that'll probably be my last appointment before the event, esp as I have a consultant appt at 36 weeks.Mind you, consultant appts have a whole other set of issues...... ![]() |

She was probs pee'ed off thatit wasn't a straight forward hand-you-notes-stamp-book case. Jeez, it must be so annoying when mothers-to-be differ, mustn't it? Like need different care or information.
![]() When I was preg with Evie we moved so I was seeing a new midwife but still planned to give birth at my old local hospital. The ante-natal midwife was great, but after having Evie the midwives at the hospital were a bit like yours. Where I live now they don't give babies vitamin K, but at the hospital I gave birth at, they do give vitamin K> They acted like I was such a huge hassle, going on about costs etc. Luckily I was too busy in my state of elation/pain to take much notice ![]() |
