I had bad backacke when i was pregnant as you say fine one minute then agony the next. I went to the doc as i could bearly walk and he referred me to physio who helped enormosy. It thankfully only lasted just over a week, but it was a long week! The doc thought it was caused by bubba lying on a nerve.
Hope it feels better soon |

Sounds like sciatica, if the baby or uterus is pressing on the sciatic nerve it causes it. I had it for a few weeks earlier on, just to do with whatever way the baby was lying, seems to have moved now as haven't had it since then.
Mine was in my right leg and bum cheek too, pressing on it really hard seemed to ease it, but sometimes my leg would just give way when I turned or stood up. The midwife told me it was sciatica and to try getting hubby to knead the spot that seemed to hurt as it would help relax the muscles. Hopefully it will ease if the baby moves position. Thanks all you're so helpful!
Ia a bit better today, I carried on with the water bottle in the morning and this evening it is still achey but not as much. Luckily my leg hasn't collapsed, but will be aware when carrying Ollie. This baby moves so much so maybe he has eased off it a little. |
