I really was partiually pleased I took
- Squash, i was so thirsty - My perfume - New cheapesh slippers, that were really comfy and i threw them away afterwards cause of worry about dirt and hosp bugs. - Anti bacterial wipes -big cotton knickers - hair band so i could tie my hair back -Face wipes/ make up remover wipes - I took a summer dressing gown (it was hot in there) - long nighties, I got blood on two of them and pleased I had spares -my phone, i took photos of lottie on it - extra large towel for after my shower, and another to stand on -I pre- brought a box of lovely biscuits to say thank you to the nurses -Flannel, it was over my forehead whist i was in labour -Munchies, Mmmmmmmmmmmmm -tooth brush and paste - A few extra clothes -biggggggg pads and nappy sack - I brought lovely shower gel and product for pampering me, and put them in a big wash bag. I made sure I had a selection of clothes for my baby cause of not knowing the weight of the baby.I was really pleased i packed scatch mitts and hat as well for lottie xx and a big blanket to take her home in.Oil for her skin was so dry.Cotton wool, nappies and nappy sacks.I took a caridgan as well as vests and baby grows ans pleased I did. take care xx if I think of anything else I will post them on xxHope everyone pregnant are ok xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx from lauren x |

I was totally unprepared, I packed my bag whilst my contractions were every 5 minutes apart but she was early and it was unexpected.
Anyhow pretty much the same as everyone else, Comfy, cotton nightie Bobble for hair Baby wipes to take makeup off Towels for after bath Disposable pants and lots of thick maternity pads Breast pads Change for hospital phone Water Camera Antibac handgel Thick socks Snacks (for hubby and a few for me) oh and I'm sure there is more but I can't think right now |

remembered another thing
a baby towel for your baby's first bath!i hadn't brought one so we just used a hospital towel but i thought it would have been nice for LO to have had her own soft towel!! Last edited by éinínsmom : 12-07-09 at 15:19. |

I also agree with all the above, but i also packed hubbie he's wash bag a clean top and undies/socks. just so he could also freshen up (who knows how long you will be there.) also plenty of change for the carpark xxxxxxxxchantal xxxxxxxx
