Top Baby names 2007

Ladies, thought this might help (or possibly put you off!) deciding on a name. Here is a list of the top baby names for 2007.

I can't believe Ruby is number 2! We chose it due to a family connection (Hubby's Gran) and at the time it was mid-table. Oh well - she is OUR beautiful Ruby!!!!!

Bradley isn't even on there, and neither is my girls name (just waiting to have the girl - lol)

Gutted that William is number 8 tho. cos I like to have names that aren't too popular. We were gonna call him Willem but decided not to as had too many people either screw their face's up at the unusual name, or think we have spelt William wrong!

Not that it really matters cos we call him Billy and actual more often than that Billy Bean, or just Bean!

Yay Thomas is number 2 in the UK, and my step sons is Samuel at number 11!

My girls name is on the list but Im not telling yet....x

finley has gone up number 47 was not on there last year

this is a great point of reference - thanks for sharing.

I looked on the office for national statistics site (as babycentre mentions that is where they got the info from) to see where matilda is (as not in top 50) and she is in at number 62. Her abbreviated name, Tilly, is right down at the bottom at number 100.

None of my kids name's are on it.... I think last time I checked the top 1000 Harley was something like 900th, Jackson was 213th (When he was born), and Tuesday wasn't on. I think Tracy (Her "proper" name) was something like 199? Not exactly sure
