I really like Piper but I know my OH would never have agreed to that, Phoebe is a very pretty name, like Henry too xxx

We have a Rhys!!!!!!!! I love it!!! we dont have any Welsh connections but I wanted a name that was a bit different but not too way out taht the child would get teased for it or hate it when he was a teenager: hope we made teh right choice.

I am actually called Helen and in my work there are 4 Helens so I for example get called Helen A as my surname starts with an A so I didnt want my child to be known by their firsr name and then their surname initial.

Plus where I live there are abt 20 houses in the street but we have several kids with the same first name so i felt I wanted to avoid adding to that!

Also my hubby's first name starts with a K as does his brother's and they wee always having pribs at ome with regard to mail as often if came addressed as Mr K ........ so tehy didnt knwo which one it was for! This doesnt bother some people but it really annoyed DH and his bro so we also wante dto avoid the "same" initial issue.

Also think abt your accent and how it woudl sound to other people calling the name.

I love Caitlin as a name and dont think I have a strong Northern Irish accent but once when I was in a local shopping centre, I heard a woman shout "caitlin" after her daughter and she just sounded like a fishwife: it was just awful in a really broad Be;fast accent! Sorry to all the belfast people who may have kids called that! (I used to live in Belfast myself so I prob do have that broad accent too although DH says I have a posh phone voice!)

Thanks everyone!. Currently my favorite is Phoebe Autumn, but like someone said I'm sure it'll change when I meet her.
For the lady with an Oliver Hudson, one of my friends has a little boy called Hudson, it's the coolest name!.
I love love love Piper, but we live really near loads of roads called Piper Road/close/avenue etc so it'd be odd when she went to school .
Loving Lola as well, but too many 'A' sounds Lola and Freya! .
Arggghhhh see, this is why I need help!
