Question Perineal massage?

I tore pretty badly last time so am looking for anything to stop it happening again! xo

I never done it, but my friend done it. and although she tore she didn't need stitches . it's always worth ago xxxxx

i didnt do it with either of my labours but intended to, i cad to be cut 3 times with Freddie and then tore with sophie stitches both times,give it a go you can get oil to do it with also

i did it last time and still tore.... but then my placenta did get stuck... my oh said that when i was in theatre having it removed the doctor had her whole arm up there!!!! no wonder i tore!!!

havent done it this time, kind of didnt think of it.

Eeek know what you mean! The same happened to me and was very glad of the epidural as the doc was pulling with all her strength Although I had already been cut and tore as well before that anyway! Not very nice to remember incase we have to go through it again very soon, hope not! xo

I was gonna do it but didnt know what oil to use. I mean can you just use any oil like your olive oil for cooking??????????????
