Default Decrease in baby's movements???

Ladies,

Is it true or is it a myth that the baby's movements slows down prior to labour? This bubba is really active and when I tell people some comment, "oohh cant be ready yet, it's too active!". However, we are told that if we feel any decrease in movements we should contact MW or GP?!?!?

Seems forever ago but i'm sure that Ruby was moving loads right up until I went into labour.

What are your thoughts/experiences??

Baby is generally active right up to and even during labour!! think the advise in decreased movements can indicate babys distressed...

midwife said baby can be more active 2nd time round as they dont always engage till labour begins....

Yes don't worry, I totally agree with Rachael. I heard decreased movements can mean there could be a problem. Last time Logie moved loads right up til and during labour and this baby seems to be the same so far! I think the difference as you get further on is it's bigger movements rather than little kicks as there's less space for baby to move around and you can feel everything! xo

India didn't stop moving, in labour I could feel every dig with her elbows and legs and it hurt !!!! She was so active !

I've heard the same if there is a change in movement/activity and it slows down or is less you should see your MW.

Hopefully these little bubbas will be on there way soon xxx
