We had the BT digital ones which are really good but expensive (£50 I think). The only problem we had with them was the rechargeable batteries wore out very early on but we replaced them and it has been fine since.
We also have the Fisher Price Sounds and Lights (hubby's friend works for them and got them free and gave them to us) and we leave these at my parents in law and to be honest they are really good too and about half the price of the BT ones and you get an extra listening unit so can have one say in bedroom and one in living room. |

we've got a monitor with one of those pressure mats for the cot which is peace of mind but I wish I'd gotten a video monitor for those times when baby is playing up so you dont have to keep going in and disturbing them to check if theyre ok. Imogen thinks its a game now, nightmare.

Aye I feel the same...
Also, this little un won't be under my nose the whole time, like Katie was, so I might need the monitor more during the day in the early stages. A video would be perfect... Any recommendations????? |

I have the tomy classic ones and they are ok but sometimes when u switch the adult one on it takes a while for the sound to come through.
As for video ones i was going to get a video one but thought it might make me paranoid. lol checking it all the time etc. |

I have the Tomy digital platinum and can hear buses going past outside her bedroom window. Can 'talk' back to bubba too which is cute as Isabella and I have conversations on it now. Never had interference as think that;s just on analogue ones. Didn't get a video one as they were all analogue sound xxx
