I have the same ones, they are really good can hear almost every noise he makes! I had the walkabout ones with Tuesday and Harley and they were great too, and I didn't get much interference, in fact with Tuesday I can't remember having any but with Harley I had a little. But they were nearly 12 years old by then. Harley uses my old ones as walkie talkies now, so it says something for the durability that they lasted 16 years.
Never considered a video monitor, but they sound really good

the video monitors look good but I've heard reports that they pick up loads of interference etc although it would be great to see what your lo gets up to during the night ?!!!! We bought the BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus and it's just fab, picks up no interference at all but we can hear India really clearly on it. We picked this one because you can activate lullabies, night light and talk to your lo using our unit without having to go into their room - would definitely recommend it xxx

Thanks for the advice ladies. I think we are probably going to go with the BT digital ones as I have heard a lot of people saying good things about them.

Still plenty of time to change our minds though!!

We have the Tomy Digital Platinum too. Never had any interference because it's digital and it picks up sound really well.

I'd definitely recommend it.

We have the Tommee Tippee digital monitor:

I can really recommend this if you don't want a video monitor. I found the digital room thermometer invaluable as I was always paranoid about whether he was warm enough! The night light is great too! I've had no problems with interference with this monitor and it works really well here in Germany too. I thought we'd have to buy a new one when we moved but it's fine! I'm just planning on using it again with the new baby as its always worked really well for us so far! xo

My sister has a video one and it is so entertaining to watch what your LO is up to when they don't see you. They have a way of playing you may not see otherwise. You can sit there and watch the screen for entertainment instead of the tv-that's how much fun it is.
