Oh Rachael. It's not easy is it? In the last few months with Imo i couldn't sit at the table as my tummy was so big i had to be an arms length away from the table. I just munched on the couch or standing up. As for the labour inducing remedies it is all crock. My midwife told me to start natural things at 37 weeks as i was so big i couldn't walk. We tried everything, hot curry's (my poor friend went to tescos everyday for 2 chicken madras and a fresh pineapple on her way to my house) pineapple (one a day plus juice) going to a drive over the speed bumps, on the days i could walk we went for long strolls (stopping every 100 feet but hey) and then there was sex. Poor poor hubby. Not the easiest thing to do when your missus has put on 7 stone in 9 months!! He soldiered on like a pro(although i remember it was so funny he said it's ok you dont have to make the sounds and pretend to enjoy it, like thank God as i was trying to think of all the things still had to pack). It might have worked in that a week before she was born i was 3cm after a bit of the other. But who knows. Anything is worth a go, beth xxxx
