If i remember rightly i changed mine when they felt too small and couln't wear them any longer. But didnt change to maternity just normal non wired one...
http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/no...&mnSBrand=core only because they were cheaper and moved to the proper materity ones right at the end and during b/feeding. As long as the ones you are wearing are comfortable i wouldnt change them. Not really sure the reason why to change isnt it something to do with milk duct or something?! The bones in your bra apply pressure?! Sorry cant be more help. |

I brought a couple of maternity bras, probably about 2 months ago, when my bras started to get tight, but i hate them they are so unflattering (especially under clothes) so i have also treated myself to soft wired ones. xxxxx

I wore maternity bras from very early on as they felt so nice and supportive (has'nt stopped my boobies dragging on the ground though
) I got a lovely maternity/breastfeeding one that had drop cups, think it was by 'bravdo' from the local BF club, was heaven, wore them for months after i gave up trying to BF, hubby did'nt mind thiough, easy access!!! beth xxxx |

I stopped wearing underwired bras as soon as they got uncomfortable. Felt the wires were digging in a bit, especially at the start when boobs are more tender. I just wore M&S maternity bras last time, not very attractive looking and I was so glad to get new pretty bras afterwards! This time I got Anita Maternity bras. Again they're quite plain but very supportive and the ones I got are microfibre and are supposed to grow with you! I know you can get prettier ones online but I like to be able to try them on first and can't be bothered with the hassle of returning them!

Last time round I got a couple of Miriam Stoppard ones, they were more like teenage crop tops but so comfy especially if your chest is sore and ever changing! Havent been able to find them again though. Ill keep searching, they were only about £15 each.

thanks for your replies ladies... i think i just wore plain M and S ones last time when mine got uncomfortable....but want to stay a yummy mummy now so think i will have to see what else is on the market...my boobs dont feel anywhere as tender as they did at this stage last time round so perhaps will be able to keep my underwired ones for a wee bit longer yet!!! I have a couple of these and they are very comfortable and give the support and shape of an underwired bra...without the wire! Not too pricey either!
