Hi, I'm not pregnant again but I took it with Finlay and it did nothing for me. I took the tablets cos I couldn't face the actual tea, was told how disgusting it is by my Mum as she took it with me. Yes it is from 32 weeks. Have a go, it can't hurt and might work for you xx

Ya i drank it with my second pregnancy and ate fresh pineapple!
I had to be induced in the end but when things got going it happened VERY fast. Don't know was it down to the tea. I dilated from 1 cm to 10 in approx 2hours! Don't know would i really recommend it. It's down to personal choice i suppose.
That was my first Labour, had section with Ais.
Did you take it last time?
Good luck D

I was advised not to use raspberry leaf tea because of my history of miscarriage as it stimulates the uterus and can bring on premature labour in some women. I must add that this is just my personal experience and I'm not advising anyone for or against it!

However, I know plenty of ladies who did use it, although none of the could say whether or not it was useful as they were all first time mums! I think sometimes the psychological effects of taking it can be a positive help to some women.

Hello,
Second pregnancy - drank it from about 34 weeks as did two of my friends and we all had quick , good births and our midwives all commented on how quickly our uteruses (uteri ?!) contracted afterwards. Could be coincidence, but I believed it in enough to drink again this time.
This pregnancy - been drinking a concoction including Raspberry leaf for about 8 or 9 weeks now - mainly to stimulate milk supply as I really struggled to maintain it the last two times, but hoping those little leaves will work their magic again in terms of the birth.
My herbalist recommends drinking 4-5 tea cups a day but I have never managed that - just don't have the time and also cannot forgoe my normal morning cuppa! Laura x

I drank the tea from about 32 wks & had a very good labour i dilated 7 cms in an hour, had many hrs of pushing but that was due to Alexander s head being in the wrong position,i quite liked the tea myself.I am not sure if it helped in my labour or not as i have nothing to compare it to.
Sorry not much help really was i.

I tried it and everything else and Melissa still turned up two weeks late after an induction. Happy to see it works for some people though, i might give it another try this time
