I just can't remember. Could the baby move and kick? Was your tummy constantly solid, or on and off? What is the difference between braxton and the real mcCoy?
![]() Am a little worried by these kicks and solid tummy!!! Reckon I'm just bein silly, and need reassurance. I'd finished work at this stage last time. I've still got two weeks to go, and have a mountain of marking which just keeps getting higher. God knows how I'm gonna pull this one off. |

ok from what i can remember....
Braxton hicks should be inconsistant and ease off if you lay down or change postition. once my waters broke belly was hard and baby didnt move. contractions should generally get stronger and more regular. if contractions start head should be engaged so you should be walking like you have a melon between legs. my belly was hard for last 2 weeks with JM but no pains, it was only once waters broke pain was intense.... i was also 3cm dilated for about a week. memory is a bit hazy.... if in doubt ask midwife tommorrow? xxxx |

Have u back ache? sign of a boy! Call in sick if you not 100% Do marking at home if you can. I went off sick before my maternity leave started. They should be able to get a sub? don't even worry about that! big hugs! D ![]() |

I had braxton hicks from around 20 weeks and by the time I was about 36 weeks they were really strong and frequent. I do remember being able to tell the difference as soon as my real contractions started, but couldn't tell you how exactly they felt different. I just knew IYKWIM!
If you're worried maybe have a chat with the midwife in the morning. Stay chilled Mrs Bugalicious! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
