So upset :(

Wasn't going to say anything but just have to talk about it.

I *was* 8 weeks pregnant but started bleeding last week, went for an early scan and they couldn't find a heartbeat and baby only measuring 5/6 weeks

So went home to miscarry naturally and due back at hospital tomorow morning for another scan.

Unfortunately, I'm still bleeding but haven't miscarried so looks like I'll be having a D&A? Will be discussing it at the Early Pregnancy Unit tomorrow.

This last week has just been awful. One minute I'm Ok, then it hits me again and I go into a deep depression! Hubby is so upset too but being brilliant. Going to give Isabelle a lovely Christmas but my heart is broken.

I now just want the D&A and move on.

Anyone else been through the same? Thanks for listening x

I, unfortunately, have gone through a m/c. And I did have a d&c.
For me m/c was such a shock, I think I was numb going thro' d&c. Mine was under general anastetic (sp!) and nursing staff and doctors very good.

So sorry to hear your news. I have had two miscarriages, and did not miscarriage naturally either time so had to have a D & C. Like you, once I found out the pregnany was not going to continue I could not wait for it all to be over. The early pregnancy unit offered me 3 different options. 1. To wait and see what happens and I presume you would eventually miscarriage but could take a while. 2. Take a table to help bring on the miscarriage. 3. D & C. I opted for option 3 both times. I am so sorry hon, I had 3 consecutive miscarriages before falling with Ruby and can honestly say it was the worst thing to have to go through, and although I have Ruby now, it still plays on my mind and I don't think I really dealt with my feelings at the time. My advice is to talk about it if you need to honey, shout and scream or do whatever it is you feel you need to do.
