Default What to eat

I seem to be spending every waking moment at the minute feeling sick. I am starving hungery but no matter what I cook (or someone else cooks) I either feel sick before I even eat it or if i can force it down I feel ill within half an hour of eating it.

I am trying so hard to eat healthily but at the minute everything makes me want to heave. I know I feel worse when not eating but I just cant stomach anything.

My musli this morning is very close to coming back up! I wasnt expecting to feel this rough this early on in the pregnancy.

Any suggestions as to what I can try and force down?

Very little and often, even if its a mouthful or a crisp. Helped me!

Or even try a smoothie type drink/lollypops/fruits blended

Hope it passesx

Agree with MrsH, I lived on mash potato during my very bad ms days.
I was also advised that having snacking on crisps helped a bit, just 2 or 3 with a meal, salt supposed to settle stomach a bit. Also Coca Cola is supposed to help! I know it sounds terrible but I think it did help me. In my bad days I was vomiting 5 times a day, was v unpleasant. Hopefully you won't be too bad. Nausea/Travel sickness wristbands can help too. I had acupuncture to help alleviate my symptoms. Hope you feel better soon. D x

I have heard Coke is supposed to help too. I think plain foods are the key & when i had ms i could manage mashed potato with a bit of cauli or carrot mashed into it so i was getting a bit of veg. Hope it passes soon for you. x

Hugs hun x

I wouldnt worry to much about healthy eating just eating is good at the moment. Lucozade helped me a lot this time and just eating something small as often as possible. I found the thing for me was not to eat so I was full and not to get hungry.

Hope this phase passes soon xxxxxx

dry crispy crackers - like water biscuits - helped when i was carrying Tilly as bland and crunchy.

didn't like them this time around, but managed toast, mashed potato, ready salted crisps and chips! coca cola did also help. I hope you aren't sick for too long honey.
