Oh you poor thing-you really must be worried. Big big hugs!
Please do research because with all the advances in intero utero (while pregnant) surgery that has been made, there may be something that can help. Either way you need the research to learn all you can about this. Just took a quick look-there are surgeries being done. See http://www.michaelclancy.com/story.html This link comes with a contact us link: http://www.fetalcarecenter.org/fetal.../spina-bifida/ http://www.vanderbilt.edu/News/regis..._99/babies.htm http://www.angelfire.com/vt2/graciespage/ These are just a few links I pulled up-search for intero utero surgery spina bifida Lots of luck and keep us posted and of course big big hugs! |

They found a lump at the bottom of his back at the 20 week scan, i then had to have another more detailed scan to find out what it is and how bad. They wernt sure at first because his brain and spine look ok, a specialist said it is a rare form which is a little less scary but still a big shock. Thank you everyone for your support Karon |
