Clomid

I just wondered if anyone had or is taking clomid to help them concieve?

Have been back to the hospital and have now been prescribed a 2 cycles worth of clomid, wondered if anyone had any experience of it and would be happy to chat to me.

wot u want to know? i took it and conceived Rhys on it! Got my hormone levels retested before trying to conceive again and they were ok so didnt need it to get Cara!

Gave me stinky headache after a day or 2. Also according to hubby and my dad, I was a moody cow on it! Think I took it days 2-6? Started on 50mg and then got day 21 bloods done for progesterone levels and after a cycle or two it was increased to 100mg. Dont always do blood levels: sometimes they scan you to make sure you dont get overstimulated. I conceived Rhys on final cycle (number 6) and got positive test two weeks before my endo surgery was scheduled for!

As Janebug said fertilityfriends.co.uk is a good site although sometimes theres a lot of sad stories and stories of people not getting anywhere on it: like any medical type message boards, when times are good with people, they dont post. But their joke pages are fab and v v rude!

Just wondered what to expect really. The metformin makes me feel shockingly sick.

They havent said anything about bloods or scans but maybe they will try it like this for 2 months and then if not worked try again with bloods or scans maybe?

Is there a "best" time of day to take it?
