Scared Need to get my bum into gear!!!!!!!!

Midwife has just been to see me at home, was discussing the results of my sudden scan last week and baby is now engaged, midwife didn't say how far engaged but bump has dropped and I can feel baby very low down So as I have another scan next week to check baby's growth and the amount of water I'm carrying (am carrying very little water), I asked what would happen if the scan showed that the water was decreasing and midwife said I would most likely be induced was planning on 3 weeks more rest LOL midwife thinks baby could be here soon as well..........she asked if I had my hospital bag packed and I haven't she advised that I definately get it packed as soon as possible hehe

To all the ladies who have had 2nd babies...........was baby engaged in pelvis long before making an appearance??????? When I was pregnant with Megan she was 3/5ths engaged for 4 weeks before she arrived, but I'm sure I read somewhere that next babies are quicker from engaging into pelvis to being born.

As far as I can remember the midwife said Hannah was engaged at my 37 weeks appointment, can't remember how much though but she was born at 38 weeks +3 days, 11 days early. Definately get your bag packed just in case!!

I was going to write something really rude but I shall resist

No experience on the 2nd baby thing but I agree, bag packed now would be a good idea xx

hmmmmm........that plan didn't go right.........got Meg down for a nap and went to pack my bag, but for some reason had the urge to sort out CDs and books and get them out of the boxes instead, am now going to cook dinner and as soon as Meg is in bed I am forcing myself to pack that bag, must not get distracted..........have told my OH that he has to make sure I have it done before bed he'll be home from work when Meg is in bed and considering all the clothes are dumped on our bed at the moment there'll be no bedtime until the bag is packed lol xxxx
