Default Am I worrying to much?????

I've been having headaches for the last few days and it is making it very hard to sleep, it's a dull throbbing pain around my temples and nose. Then yesterday while cooking dinner my left eye went all blurry for about half a minute and then was back to normal . I keep getting backache as well. Was checking the internet for answers about continuous headaches in pregnancy last night and was getting some frightening answers.............now I'm worried and am thinking I'm being very over the top with it all and think I need to relax and then I begin to think about the what ifs . Maybe I am being a worrywort, don't want to mention it my partner, because I can't have us both worrying as it would make me feel worse and then if it's just nothing then I will feel like I'm just being over the top IYGWIM........I never had any discomforts or trouble when I was pregnant with Megan, which is probably why I'm worrying so much. Anyone got any advice as to how to remedy this????? Or am I just worrying too much??????

Firstly big hugs hun.

I would make an appointment to see your GP or MW - worrying this much about what it might or might not be is obviously stressing you out and isn't good for you or baby. They will be able to give you some solid answers based on your symptoms and a proper discussion/check over.

I got headaches in my pregnancies and what I used to call 'flickery' eyes (still get them now) and I mentioned it to my optician and he said it was a sign that I was run down. Try and relax as much as possible and get to see a medical professional who can put your mind at rest.

Hugs hun xxx I would go get yourself checked over to put your mind at rest. My SIL had bad headaches through her pregnancy and it was nothing more than hormones. Hope you feel better soon xxxxx

Thank you for all the advice and hugs. I rang up the surgery and managed to get an appointment to see a GP. Am feeling more relaxed now, he checked my blood pressure etc and that was fine. He also checked my nose and I have sinisitis (sp) as the my sinuses are swollen and causing pressure which explain the headaches and the blurry vision yesterday. He has given me some instructions for a home remedy to help relieve the swelling as he didn't want to prescribe me steroids because of the pregnancy, he has said if it hasn't cleared up after a few days or gets worse then I'm to go back again. I have a midwife appointment booked for next week, so am going to mention it then if it's still bad, but am feeling more relaxed now that I've got checked out and it's nothing serious. Fingers crossed it begins to clear up xxxx
