Was it like 2 suitcases or just a smaller bag for labour. I have a suitcase but then like a large laundry type bag which is inside the suitcase to take down to delivery suite with me, but im not sure if big enough. |

Two cases: one was the size of the case you are allowed to take into the aircraft cabin as hand luggage: used as delivery suite bag as smaller than other bag. The other bag was a cheap case from Ikea which we used for taking toys and clothes to inlaws house to visit on a Sunday. Also have hubby carry a rucksack that he could bring camera, phone, drinks and food and mags in: mainly was empty so he also could bring dirty laundry home in too. And kept little holdall in car with clothes for me going home in and outfit for Cara for going home as didnt see point on bringing these onto ward til we were ready to go home. And a carrier bag in car with pressie for Rhys from baby and vice versa which hubby just in his rucksack when he brought Rhys up to see us: again, couldnt see the point of packing this in my cases to bring in at the start! |

Did no-one take hairdryer straighners with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that just me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im finding it hard to think how long \i will be in as with Leah I was in for 2 nights before she was born then 3 nights after. Think with 2nd if everything ok you come home the next day or in some cases (not mine mind) the same day!! I plan to have a least one night in to ensure everything is ok!!! Also did you wear maternity clothes home? Last time as it was the summer I wore a pair of jogging bottoms and t-shirt they were ok, but this time think I might go with some of my maternity stuff for a week or so. |
