Brim....

Midwife wrote in notes today "brim" rather than the previous "free". I cant remember if she said head was in brim or just abt to enter (in which case would it not still be free?".

Assume this is good news but anyone let me know how long they were at this stage for before the real McCoy happened?

how exciting!!!

Brim simply means the head still isnt 'engaged' as such but on the brim of the pelvis.
first time around they engage ready from about 36 weeks or in the hours before birth. In subsequent babies it can be anywhere uptil the final hours of birth. Heres hoping it helps progression and you start off soon!
