Default Question

Am not a mum to be but thought was the most apt place to post.

I have decided I want to TTC (not that I've told hubby yet ) it's just always at the back of my mind that I don't even know if I can have another one and I'm 33 in a few months so time is not exactly on my side either. But......

We have a tiny 2 bed house so have been feeling it would be selfish to have another whilst we're still here. We can't move for another 2 years because of our mortgage. Plus I would like Finlay to go to a particular nursery/primary school that is up the road from us as it's an excellent school (and was where I went as a child too). So should I be sensible and wait a couple more years before we try? Am really very confused about it as I think deep down I've been quite desperate for another for some time (despite the probs I've been having) and hubby wants another too. If I have another boy, then they could share a room but I don't feel it would be right for a girl to share with him and obviously there's no guarantee on what sex the baby would be......

Oh so confusing, help!!

Go for it! You've mentioned on a few threads recently about wanting another child/should you try for another & even a possible pregnancy. If you both feel it's the right time then I would try.

Do not let your living circumstances dictate whether you have another baby. My best friend was in a similar situ. She lived in a two bed flat with her 9 yr old daughter when she caught again. She has since had another and moved to a 3 bed house but her two youngest (3 yr old boy and almost 2 yr old girl) share a room. I think at this age when they are so young it doesn't make a difference if they share a room or not.

My point is, you may live in a 2 bed house now, but you don't know where you'll be in 5 yrs time. Also remember even if you got caught now, it would be almost two yrs before you'd need to worry about the children sharing a room.

HTH

Big hugs

Tx

Just have a go...and the end of the day 'if it's meant to be' children are a precious gift and by the sounds of it you and hubby both would like another child! And and little someone would really like the idea of a brother or sister!! I have a boy and a girl and i'm thinking about putting them in the same room even though we have enough rooms for them to have one each, i think it would be nice and only an issue when they are older!x

Good luck!!!

We are in a two bed house and although its not tiny, its not huge either. When bubs is born he/she will be in with us for a good while then will go and share with Max, regardless of the sex. Think it only becomes an issue later on, but when they are young its not a big deal.
