Default Baby Carriers

Hello ladies.

Not been on here in a while. Hope you're all ok. I'd like to pick your brains if i may... I want to use a baby carrier thing time around, one that you strap to your body so that baby is closer to you. However, I tried this with my little boy Harry and couldn't find one that fit around me comfortably. I'm a larger lady (size 20-22)....any suggestions?

Terri xx

Why not use a tricotti sling, or similar, and wrap a sheepskin blanket around it for when outside?

I used this wrap for Callum: Calin Bleu, Baby sling and baby carrier made in the UK You can get it in large - fits from a size 16, and you tie it around yourself so it should fit you no probs! It takes a little while to get the hang of tying it but I found it really useful when Callum was very little and he needed to be close to me. Also meant I could do without a double buggy for a while too. Eventually he just got too heavy for me to carry him and push Logan in the buggy at the same time but it is possible to still carry a toddler this way! The website has a guide showing lots of different ties and you can put the baby on your back or hip too, depending on the baby's age. I found I didn't get backache using this wrap but I did with the Baby Bjorn. xo
