i do feel a little bit bad as bil told oh today that she was really disappointed it was a boy and cried!!!

Aw that's such a pity Can't imagine being disappointed if I have another boy, you're just happy you have a healthy baby aren't you? The boys would be happy as they both want a brother!

I agree, know matter how much you have a preferance, surely you wouldnt be dissapointed with whatever you had, I could never be dissapointed! x

I remember being quiet upset when they told me Lily-Bea was a girl, I really wanted another boy, I thought if I had a girl then she would turn out like me and that world would suffer once more

She is just like me but is totally awesome and amazing and I love my little princess sooooo much

Back in the olden days when I was preggers with my first, ultraounds werent quite common.

I was sent for one in my 6th month because doc thought he heard two heartbeats (and cause I was a fat cow). The technician didn't get a good luck and couldn't tell us if it was a boy or girl.

So of course I convinced myself it was a girl. When I gave birth and doc said it was a boy I was in disbelief and yes for a few minutes disappointed (mostly because I had convinced myself it was a girl because I knew we would be moving to Israel adn that meant that in 18 years he would be in the army and I was not too thrilled)

I got over it pretty fast. And then I had another boy. *sigh* so now 20 years later, I ahve one in the army and another going in soon.

i know when i has fraser i really wanted a girl but after he was born it didn't even cross my mind!

went round there today as finley's not see him yet and really wanted to

she don't seem to be coping very well she is trying to bf but has been giving him a bottle to as he still seems hungry after she has feed him
seems very distant from the baby keeps saying about putting him down as she didn't want him to become clingy!
when i got there he was on the changing table asleep with no blanket on him

How about having a word with her OH? Maybe he can talk to her and find out how she is feeling, it sounds like she is really resenting the baby for being a boy
