Fed up :(

I'm tired, it's grey and miserable and OH was supposed to have the day off but now has to work. I think half term brings to the fore how difficult everything is with Bella, life should be getting easier now she's nearly five but it's only getting harder, she still doesn't sleep we can't have respite any more as she's too heavy to lift officially now. Her feet are in plaster meaning she can't be washed and she has AB diarrhoea, delightful. She just wants to sit on my lap or be carried around whereas Ben wants to be outside doing things, whatever I do one of them is unhappy

I know I should be grateful and I am really but feeling sorry for myself today

Hugs hun. Don't be so hard on yourself. I have a good moan about my 3 especially now its school holidays. Thats shocking u don't get respite cause she is too heavy to lift.

Massive Hugs sweetie. I can't imagine how you cope, in fact makes all of us realise how easy we actually have it. I've been feeling tired and stressed just having Finlay home for 10 days without help, how you manage is just incredible. You're an inspiration to many hun for what you do with your children and you cope brilliantly. Everyone is allowed an off day and a feeling sorry for themselves day, you included

Let it out, have a good cry and don't be ashamed to moan or feel sorry for yourself in the slightest xxxxxxxxx

You have ever right to moan, you are an amazing mum, you should be getting help, your not and your STILL coping.

You do a fantastic job and Bella is a credit to you. You can never please kids

but it must be even harder to accommodate Bellas needs and Bens.

Manual handling regs mean a carer can't lift or hold Bella, which would have been ok when we could access the local respite centre but our LA viewed it as too expensive and Bella is too "medically complicated" for the new alternative

I'm going to see our MP in a few weeks!

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling a bit brighter now (we've just done the final hospice paperwork which was very draining too) been out for dinner and going to the cinema tomorrow which they both enjoy

Have also had a glass (or two) of wine <hic> So if the housework fairies could just visit overnight I'd be very happy.
