Just thrown my step-dad out of my house

OMG I AM SO FREAKING ANGRY!

My mum and step dad just came to visit us, my step dad is recovering from a nervous break down/ mental meltdown last year and he signed himself into a mental hospital during last year.

he is now having some kind of relapse and keeps telling my mum and me that he can make things pop out of thin air, he is getting messages from god and so on and so forth... well today, they came up and he began telling me how he "fixed" his computer by talking to it, then he told me that he is capable of making cups appear out of thin air and knows how to teleport things... he then asked if I believed him and I say no, I think your needing help... LOTS of help.

A wee while later he started talking to Nate, telling him in whispers that he was going to "fix" Nate... I let it go cos the man is clearly crazy.
Then he started getting the kids really rowdy and I tried to calm things down and he started talking over me, telling the kids what to do. Now that annoys me that the best of times but I thought my mum would step in and tell him and she did.

He ignored her and continued on telling them off and talking over me, next thing, he pulls lily bea sock off her and knocks her to the ground and tried to cover it up by saying she fell, she didnt fall I saw him grab her sock whilst they were playing, I made sure lily was ok and told them enough for enough, he then started saying "Right kids, Mum says no more playing we can have fun another time, mum says that enough" and by now I was starting to get riled.

The he started annoying Nate and I told him to stop and Nate got annoyed and kicked him. I told Nate that wasnt acceptable and he apologised and I said to nate that he had a choice, he could go for a time out in the corner or on the step to reinforce that he cant hit and my step dad started talking over me saying to Nate how he can just say sorry and it will be okay.

So I told my step dad that I needed him to stop interrupting me when I was trying to parent, they are my children not his and he has never had any children to parent and his response was, I wasnt interrupting you, Im just being a grandad. You werent listening to him, he just wanted to say sorry.

I pointed out that nate did say sorry but he still had to be put on the step because of his behaviour, then he told me that I should listen to my children like he does so that was it, I threw him out, I couldnt take anymore of his crap!

Thanks girls, I was so so angry but I knew I couldn't lose my temper in front of the kids, it took everything I had not to smack him in the face when he was telling me I didn't listen to my son and didn't understand him.

Bubba, you are totally right, there is nothing wrong with Nate, he is borderline autistic not a bloody laptop!

My step dad was claiming that he fixed his PC screen by talking to it and that means that he can fix anything with a problem. WTF?!?!

My mum seriously needs get the doc out to him but she wont, I dont know if she is in denial or if he has really made her believe that he is fine because he tried to tell me he was fine but it ws like he was trying to convince me and make me think along the same lines as him, like he was trying to convince me that I was bonkers as well... sorry but Ive had a nervous break down and I know what one feels like so NOPE, im not mental (anymore)

Still very annoyed but more worried about my mum, spoke with my sister and she thinks he is bonkers as well and she also pointed out that I have a tendency to get angry over nothing but she is an agreement that I was more than justified in this case, so I dont feel bad about throwing him out.

I know Claire and you know the problems that ive had with him in the past so this is just another kick in the teeth.
I have really had enough of him and I and do think that he is trying to make everyone believe his delusions and I think he has my mum believing them already... dont know what to do?!?

I think I'll phone my aunty tonight and get her to talk some sense into my mum.

It's so hard because if she doesn't want to see it she won't no matter who gets involved. Your Mum seems really lovely, I'm sure she'll be wise to it sooner or later, just hope for all of your sakes it's sooner. Really feel for you hun, like you needed this on top of the other stuff (which now in hindsight maybe you should have said about after all) xxxxxxxxxx
