Default Not a bad day but a busy one :(

Today I have a REALLY busy day, Ive got to view a new potential school for Nate with our pre school home visitor and this has a built in autistic unit so hopefully that can help Nate more, then an hour after I have a hospital appointment and in between all this I have to take Nate to and from Nursery whilst looking after Lily_Bea.

Sorry for moaning but its really hard when you dont drive and the ive been waiting on this hospital appointment for ages and Im gonna have to take the kids with me not looking forward to that.

Awww Susie, We havent spoken for so long.

Nate was tested for autism and he is borderline on the test so we still dont know if he is or isnt but he does show a few autistic tendencies like repetitive behaviour, lack of empathy, little attention span and he had social communication difficulties. its something we will have to monitor until he is older.

We have had lots of support from the Education dept, his nursery are awesome as are the SALT team and his pre school home visitor, they have helped me with lots of strategies for him and they nearly always work.
We use things like count down, timers and visual timetables for him and he responds really well to them.

But the school visit today went really well, the school has all the facilities that he could need and lots of staff to help him out so I am really pleased, the head master seemed really nice and all the staff were really nice so i think he will like it

Hospital visit went well and everything is fine, my psoriasis has just kicked off a little and is now making my nails all weird and misshapen!
