Grrrrrr shop assistant

Was in toys r us last night & had to return a christmas book I bought for Oliver that didn't work when we got it home (was supposed to have lights & music) not only did she take half an hour checking it didn't work and didn't have a battery compartment, she was just soooooo dozy and was doing things in slow motion then I was on the subway home & looked at my receipt & realised she had charged me twice for a transformer that I had bought for my nephew AND she hadn't taken the $10 off for the book I returned!!!! I mean come on isn't this your job?? I haven't got time to go back in to sort it out before we leave for england so I am hoping they will re-credit my card over the phone but think this is unlikely.

On the plus side - I did come home with some yummy Magnolia bakery cupcakes to cheer me up

what a doop!! is that by any chance the giant toys r us in times square? its so fab in there, apart from the shop assistant chatting my hubby up in front of me, asking for his phone number!!! we were on bloody honeymoon!!! grrrrr

some people are just so crap at there jobs, it drives me mad.

And i'm so jealous of the magnolia cupcakes , OH and had these last time we went to NY. I want to go back to NY, you are so lucky xxxxx

toysrus have a rep for cr@p customer service. It's not worth the bother of complaining half the time, and I think they rely on that rep, to an extent!

try that big store if you can. But try phoning first. What a cock up. xxx
