Default Cows milk abroad

Hi, i wonder if you could help me, I am going to tenerife on friday and i currently give my one year old daughter cows milk from tesco. I obviously can't take this with me and i don't really want to give her milk bought out there. I have seen cow and gate growing up milk and am wondering whether i should take this for her bedtime bottle but as she hasn't had it before i am slightly nervous, any suggestions??

Sorry, I have no idea but I'll be very interested to see the responses as we have holidays planned for next year. Perhaps your HV could advise. Enjoy your holiday!

Hi, I gave my LO cows milk whilst in spain - she was one. The hotel provided for us for free. I also took some of her formula but she prefered cows milk.

Why don't you try her on the growing up milk before you go.xx

Hi - I live in the middle east. I give my little one stage 3 milk for his main bottles - but also give him cows milk from here as a drink - he's absolutely fine with it.

I agree though - take some Cow & Gate with you just in case your little one has a bad reaction.

I used full fat milk when in Tenerife. Bought it from their shops and Alex was fine with it x x x

Ummm, if you don't mind me asking, why don't you want to give your daughter cows milk when in Spain? I don't think there is anything wrong with it over here!!!!! The only difference being that people use UHT milk. Totally normal, just look for entera which is full fat. I use the Asturiana(cos i prefer the taste) make with Maia and have done since she was 1. NO adverse affects as of yet. Fresh milk is more difficult to find although it is about just not commonly used.
I really wouldn't worry about it. When we've been to the UK we've used "normal" milk and she has been fine with that too so i see no difference.
